Looking for the perfect family getaway!?
My family is looking for somewhere to go for our next Christmas. A lot of us are thinking Caribbean somewhere, or maybe pacific. The perfect place in most of our minds was something along the following. If someone has been to somewhere like this, I would love to know where it is and hear about it.
Our perfect place consisted of:
-White sand beaches
-Palm tree's
-Brilliantly blue snorkel-able oceans just minutes away
-A small community of 20-50 bungalows approximately 5-10 miles away from a larger town (1,000-30,000 people)
-Teenager friendly
-No more $200 per night per bungalow
Other amenities that would be nice but not necessary
-Surfing nearby (within 20 miles)
-An airport nearby(within 50 miles)
-Other fun family activities
It should go without saying, but warm during late December, early January is a must.
Barbados is a beautiful island. Lots of lovely scenery and so much to do, morning noon and night. In Barbados you can never get bored because there is something for every type of person to take part in. Barbados is also romatic. Activites for kids and older ones…you will not regret visiting Barbados! The island has great beaches and is wonderful for shopping too!

As it relates to accommodation, there is a lovely resort in Barbados called The Barbados Beach Club. This is along the South Coast and has a lovely beach view...Barbados is known for its lovely white sandy beaches and beautiful ocean waters!

P.S I do not know what Bungalow is, I have never heard of it so I dont think they are any in Barbados unless it has another name. Barbados has ALL that you are asking for and MORE.This hotel that I have told you about is about 25-30 minutes away from the airport.
